CMSourcing sign Armed Forces Covenant and receive Bronze Award from Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

As a way of confirming our long-term commitment to supporting Armed Forces personnel in the workplace, we are pleased to share we have added our signature to the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC). In recognition of our commitment and signatory to the AFC pledge, we have simultaneously received the bronze aware from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

As per the covenant we ‘pledge, that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.’

This isn’t a new standard for us, this has always been at the forefront of our employment drives and will continue to be important. To achieve bronze status, we had to prove we promote being an armed-forces friendly employer – not a difficult task here, a cofounder and two of the senior client managers are proudly ex-military.

In our line of business, promoting and filling offshore positions, having people who understand the genuine demand of this lifestyle is invaluable. It is unique and our ex-military personnel can empathise with this. We always aim to build trust with our clients and contractors alike so a deep understanding of offshore life is essential in our view.

We look forward to building on this pledge as we continue to grow.
